Now that I have been in my new home in Karrinyup for a year or so, it has given me time to reflect on my "new home building" experience with Austurban Homes. When I first made the decision to build a new home as a single woman, some people expressed dismay that I would even contemplate such an experience. But I knew that with a good house designer and an honest enthusiastic builder, my dream of a happy, exciting adventure would be possible. Thus, when looking for a builder to put all my ideas together (with a limited budget, I might add), it was imperative to feel comfortable with the principals of the company.

Kris, from our very first meeting where you showed me what was possible within my budget, I knew Austurban Homes and I would be a successful partnership! I am sure there were many times when I may have caused you both some frustration because, with my restricted budget, came "big" ideas! But your advice was always in my best interests which I learnt to value and trust. So after roughly 18 months of negotiation and decision making, my new home was created - all within my budget, promised time frame and desire for a happy experience. All my expectations were met.

I would not hesitate to recommend the team at Austurban Homes to any prospective clients. Using a smaller builder has many benefits. The personal service, regular communication, reliability of quality and honesty, are what all new home owners seek. This is what Austurban Homes  offered me and they were fulfilled.

I was referred to Austurban Homes by a friend.  We had a difficult  project to do and after talking to Kris we felt comfortable that he could do the job.  The project was 360sqm of house, including a 45sqm basement/cellar on an irregular shaped 260sqm block. We were extremely happy with the result and we have since built two houses for investment with Austurban.

I think the key to the quality of their work and their ability to meet the construction schedule was the supervisor. He was always available, even on short notice, to address any queries or concerns that we had. He kept all the subbies on schedule, made outstanding suggestions as our home was being built, and insured the quality and craftsmanship of our home was as we expected.  

Austurban Homes seems to take great pride in delivering their homes and meeting their client’s expectations.  They certainly met ours. Would I build with them again? Absolutely. Would I be comfortable recommending Austurban? Absolutely.

Just wanted to say Thank you so very much for making my building experience so painless. After meeting with you both at the start of the investment property project I was very impressed and confident you could handle it all. After signing the contract and selecting colours etc.  I continued on with my busy schedule until you guys called me to do a final inspection. I was so flabbergasted with the finished product. It looked fantastic that I even contemplated keeping the property. The property sold quickly during a hard period in the market due to the quality of the build which helped me to receive a healthy return.
